Description

This NEW HM-48B milling machines is somewhat like the HM-47B model, but with the additional benefit of a large 1000 x 240mm machine worktable with more travels, an X-Axis auto power feed unit mounted to left side of the table and a motorised Z-Axis for repositioning the mill head height up or down automatically via the switches on the control panel.

The HM-48B also has a tapping function switch to allow you to control the required depth when tapping holes, a coolant pump system with flexible hose & nozzle, a LED work light on a flexible arm to adjust the light beam as needed and a very sturdy fabricated stand with an access panel.

The HM-48B also has a 3-Axis digital readout system fitted for accurate table positioning in all 3 X, Y & Z Axis, 6-speeds 95-1650rpm, gear driven head which can be tilted up to 90º either side of the vertical. This feature allows the head to be positioned in a variety of positions, allowing a whole range of milling, slotting, grooving, drilling and boring operations to be carried out on different angles. The milling head is also mounted to a vertical dovetail slide system that allows the head to maintain on the exact same centre position when raising or lowering.

The quill movement is also coupled to a digital depth counter mounted on the face of the machine for convenience and allows you to achieve accurate drilling or milling depths. Tilting the head can be also measured accurately via the digital head gauge mounted on the right side of the mill head.
